A few days ago i realised that one of my gerbils tail has came off and i havent pulled or hurt it. but could somone tell me if this is normal or i should take it to the vets...

It is used a way of defense in the wild, and doesn't happen unless the tail is pulled off. I would take it to the vet and get some antibiotics just to keep it from getting infected.

this does happen when some trauma has happened to the tail. Perhaps it got caught in a wheel, or maybe got into a fight with a cage mate? You should definitely take your gerbil to the vet. They will take good care of your baby.
