Alright, I know we have this thread already, but it's super long, and there's pages that are mostly chat and no pictures. Personally, I find that annoying. So here's a thread for pictures ONLY. If you want to chat about it, send a pm... or post it in the "original" so you can discuss it. The talk in the original is good, but I'd like to make a quick reference for members to look at easily to get ideas (and not have to scroll through years of chatter.) ;D Lets see great pictures of "IDEAL" set ups... lot of digging, no plastic... etc. I really wanna see your guys creative side show through....
Comment posts without pictures will be deleted. I'll go first! My tanks 2 months ago... My cage topper tank! And a shot of a tank freshly cleaned out....

hi these are our gerbilariums, the top one belongs to my newest additions, ben and samson, they are only 8 weeks old, The bottom to itsy, who recently lost her sister at her previous owners - cat. They both have tanks with the pets at home gerbilarium on top, they have a mix of 2/3 compost, 1/3 shavings and hay.

My girls tank. There are 4 in there at the moment. This is just sfter clean out. There isn't too much shvings in there as they get through LOADS of cardboard each day so the floor level ends up next to the first shelf after a couple of weeks

And here's mine! A 55 gallon with removable deviders and shelves. Each 'apartment' can house 1-2 gerbils with the removable shelf in place. This tank offers several housing options thanks the removable deviders. It would be suitable for a split tank by using a screen devider in place of the plexi glass. For larger clans, either one or both of the deviders can be removed. This tank would also be suitable for three 'loner' gerbils who might not want tank mates. The deviders allow the owner to enjoy a single tank with multiple occupants while also allowing the 'loners' their own personal space.

This is my new gerbilarium for my 4 new boys, Bobby, Digger, Boysey and Gus! They are fab and so funny and interesting to watch, just gotta buy a couple more things and it will be perfect! I went to the rescue centre looking for just 2 gerbils and these where all there from the same litter, and didnt have the heart to split them!! went and got a 55 gallon tank and all the accessories, Food compartment top left, sand, rocks and water compartment top right, sleeping log bottom shelf and digging area/bogwood/burrowing at bottom, I had a view of how I wanted it to look and am very pleased with how it looks - just sorry about the poor quality piccie!
