Ok Sandy,
quick question!
I'm borrowing this little LCP Agouti male to breed to one of my females. Since he isn't exactly mine but still living here can I show him? He's a cute little fellow!

Sure, why not? It's just a fun forum contest, not too serious!

2007 Colour Point Class Virtual Show Results We had a fair number of contestants this time, and very good quality over all. Tracy's Nasu, a 3 month-old Burmese male has a bright alert expression and beautiful, even fur. He is still very young so doesn't yet show his mature male bulking. His tail does not show a tuft, and his ears are quite long. He has very nice eyes, and excellent whiskers! Amy's Paris is a 9 month-old Burmese female. She has beautiful dark colouring and very nice fur in good condition. Her ears and eyes are lovely. Her tail is nice and thick, with a good black colour but I don't see a clear tuft. She has a lovely alert expression! Tracy's Panku is a 3 month-old male Siamese with beautiful fur of good colour. He has very good eye and ear shape, and excellent whiskers. His tail could have more thickness and a tuft. Again, his small figure is due to his youth. By next year he will have filled out! Kristi's Ross is a 13 month-old Burmese male. His colour is quite grey for a burmese, making me wonder if he carries Gg. For a male gerbil his age I'd like to see more bulk! A few more sunflower seeds, please! His coat also could be brushed out a bit for the picture, it would have given him a much better placement. His eyes are slightly rounded, but his ears are good and he has an excellent tail. I think he has good breeding potential. Third Place: Becca's Dexter is, she thinks, a 3-month old Colourpoint Agouti male. He seems a bit light to me for that, though, I wonder if he's either a Light Colourpoint Agouti or perhaps a Pearl or Light Pearl. Time will tell, if he is a Colourpoint Agouti he will get gold his tail and his ticking will be cinnamon-hued. He is beautifully photographed here, and in spite of a molt line has done very well. He hasn't got the bulk he should yet as he is very young. His eyes and ears are very nice, and whiskers are excellent. His tail shows a tuft but could be a bit thicker. Very handsome little chappy, would like to see him next year! Second Place: Ruth's Kaole is a 7 month-old male Burmese. He has good bulking and his fur is dark, even toned and has no molt lines. He has very nice eye shape but his ears are a bit too rounded on top. His whiskers are excellent, and his tail is outstanding: dark, thick, long and with a very good tuft. A handsome fellow very well photographed! First Place: Claudia's Berdie is a 7 month-old Siamese male in his prime. He has classic almond-shaped eyes and excellent ears. His whiskers are long and full. His beautiful fairly light body fur blends completely evenly with his almost black points. His fur is incredible, it reminds me of a baby seal's! His tail is long, thick, black and has a very good tuft. I haven't seen a gerbil this beautiful in quite a while! Who could resist picking up and holding this ball of fluff? He's irresistible!

Kaole's put on weight since the pics were taken, lol. I guess he still gets a sunny seed, though! After all, he did pose... ;D

hehe, I told Kaole he got beaten by a Siamese in the show. He didn't look impressed, lol. I was right on the weight, too - he's put on 10g since the beginning of March! Just makes him a fat cute fuzzball, lol. Berdie is a cute fuzzball too. I love fat cute fuzzballs. Can I steal him, Claudia? jk Hopefully I'll be able to breed Kaole someday...I'm thinking to a Spotted Siamese female? I like colourpoints. Of course, I need to know Kaole's bad points so I can counter them with the female's good points - for instance, she should have more pointy ears, right?

I think Kaole is for sure a very beautiful lovely boy! Must been cuter now~ ;D Yep, he's a purdy round fuzzball now! ;D Easier to pick up, lol. He goes flat instead of running. Then he just stays flat on my hand for a few seconds and then sort of looks around to check where he is and what's going on, and then he's off! lol

Mesieth is like that...he "hangs on" with his forepaws when he's looking over the edge of my hand. And he's prone to kamikaze leaps. Luckily I've learnt to tell when he's about to jump, though he still surprises me sometimes. Mesieth is the hyper boy and Kaole makes the nests and sits and looks cute, lol. Though if I let him loose outside the tank, he'll run around exploring...just slower than Mesieth does, lol.
