Thats a great idea. I'm gonna invest in some post-it-notes o.o
I clean mine around every month. Or when they start to smell. (good timing seeing this thread. I've just finished doing cage one XD)

I clean the girls cage every 2 weeks. I would rather clean it more often then too wait until it started smelling. Plus I am a neat freak as well .

its sometimes not a good idea to clean to regularly. can upset the gerbs and cause declainning. (im sure i read that on here, someone correct me if not

Oh wow. Here I was thinking that I needed to clean every 2 weeks! Then again, I just switched from icky stinky dusty Softsorbent to aspen and I still smell that wonderful clean aspeny smell (which I'm pleasantly happy that the scent coordinates with my sandalwood candles )
