Hey everyone! So I'm just wondering, how can you tell if your gerbil is unhappy/stressed?

its different from gerbil to gerbil but they usually are not how they use to be. was it something special you were thinking about?

Well, I have 2 alone gerbils in seperate gerbilariums next to eachother..(long story, wanted to get a new pal for my gerbil Tom, as Jerry died. Someone told me it would work putting 2 gerbilariums next to eachother and I believed them, only it doesnt work, so I decided to leave them next to eachother as Tom looked happy on his own and so did my new one Rigby) <-- been like this for about 2 and a half weeks.
I just want to make sure they are happy and not stressed:)

That's a really good question to ask, Chloerachel, and it will be good to read people's viewpoints on this. You evidently want to do the best for your gerbils that you can.  |

well... some gerbils squeak and "talk" if they feel alone. some stay and sleep all day because they lost there friend and some get very active and start digging and chewing alot more than they usually do. its veru different |
