Of course we do, and that is fair enough. My males are from P@H, and my female from a breeder. Though I thought spotted Gerbils were somewhat uncommon and one of my boys is spotted. I have takem the advice on board but personally I am very happy with my Gerbils and wouldn't change my decision. I think my spotted boy has mated with my girl, as he seems very calm and they are getting on very well. As the three of them are though. I will keep people updated. However, as much as I have read on how the clolouring works, i can't make sense of it, so any idea what colours the pups will be (spotted white and grey male, pure black female) xx

Ok, I am posting here rather than the breeding trio thread as I think that could be an interesting discussion and I don't want to spoil it.
They may be brothers, and I understand you not wanting to split them, but please consider that there is a high chance of either one of them or the pups being killed.
I would however like to point out that being from a pet store, they are unlikely to be siblings. Pet shops place orders through wholesalers for a quantity of each sex, the supplier will then make up a batch of gerbils of different colours (pet shops like mixed colours), a min order is normally six of each sex, you would not normally get enough of each colour and sex in one litter to fulfil that order so pups from various litters would be used. Pet shop staff cannot say for definite that they are siblings as they have no way of knowing, and most will have no knowledge of how the gerbils are produced so to speak.
You really would be best off splitting the trio up, leaving one boy with the girl, then introducing the lone boy to some male pups when they are ready. Assuming that as you have decided to breed you have the tanks spare anyhow.
This is not meant to offend, but hopefully it will give you a little more to consider and is meant with good intention.
