I read that fluffing up can be a symptom of a RI though, so I don't want to leave it as I lost my first two females to one

We have five adult gerbils. They all fluff sometimes. Maybe it's because they are cold or because they want to appear bigger. If she is puffy and lethargic and makes clicking sounds when she breathes then she probably has a RI. Is she eating, sleeping, running and digging like she usually does?

She is acting relatively normal, apart from fighting with her sisters (Not ball fighting, but dominance squabbling)

It's been 17 days since Christina and Bailey met Preston. I've been weighing all my girls to see if there was any changes. Bailey didn't gain anything in the first two weeks, but has put on a gram in the last two days, like her sister Lexi. I was using Lexi as my control as she wasn't in the run with the other girls.
Chrstina on the other hand gained 2g the first week and then 5g the next. However, the last 2 days she has lost this weight. Does this suggest a false pregnancy?
Are my worries now over?
I checked her for any signs such as nipples, thinning fur etc. I have also gently felt her abdomen and it doesn't feel firm. It doesn't brush the palm of my hand and she isn't pear shaped. I know that the shape change and the most weight is gained in the last few days. She would be due next week (day 24).
The only other cause for this weight lose is dehydration due to a new bottle that hasn't been working for the last 24hrs. I put it in yesterday and they didn't get on with it. I put their old bottle back and they were all eager. None of the other girls had lost weight though..... I also haven't seen any signs of miscarriage, so they could have been reabsorbed?

I dont think that your girls are pregnant. They usually gain a lot of weight and visually round/fat in the last seven days of pregnancy

I'm currently at Uni. But her weight started at 65g. In the first week, she went up to 67g. In the second, she went up to 70g. But on day 16, she went down to 68g and then 66g the next. When i saw her this morning, she was making a nest in the back corner out of white loo roll and hay. She still looks normal, with no noticeable change. I'll weigh her when I get back....
The other gerbil has only gained 1g, but so has her sister. So I assumed this was just normal weight gain rather than pregnant. She wasn't in the run with the male when I saw them though.
