So I found 5 pinkies with Lexi and Richard this morning. Richard has been split before the heat and will return tomorrow night. Have I got 2 wine eyes or pink eyes? The pups can be Lcp although I'm not sure if the dad carries the p recessive gene. Here are pictures snapped this morning:

Interesting. They certainly looked red before, but you're right, they're L/CP.

What do you feed the pups. So this is you second litter. Did you get the pups tamed? If yes, any pointers?

The pups are still suckling from mum although my last litter starting mouthing my normal gerbil food around now. I feed all my gerbils Gerri gerbil.
My first litter were really tame and I handled them daily from their birth. I have done the same with these ones. They now have their eyes open and come and sit in my hand when I put it in the tank.
In terms of tips, just handling them daily helps. I had to pick then up initially rather than just having my hand in the tank as they don't eat food yet. I then just let them run around on the bed or sleep on my hand.
