I stored my timothy hay just bought from petco in the freezer for a night. How should I take it out so it wont condensate and mold? Should I just take it and place it in a box with holes and somewhere dry? Thanks

I freeze my hey usually for a few days to a week and I usually just take it out put it in the cupboard and leave it to defrost and thats all. It never goes mouldy or anything with me.

To be honest I just put mine straight in the tank after taking it out of the freezer. The Timothy hay is so dry to begin with that there's virtually no moisture left in it to actually freezer, it feels cold when it comes out of the freezer but it's fully defrosted within a few minutes (in the summer). Never had a problem with mild in my tank, and we have relatively high humidity here.
