I've got a lonely gerbil male who I adopted from pets at home. He looked pretty miserable in that tank all by himself. I've been spending time when I'm not in school with him. How much attention does he need? He's albino... I think... He's completely white with red eyes.

Hmm, Gerbils tend to prefer living with others but it is possible to have a lone gerbil happy. Give him as much attention as you can and lots of space and toys and things to do spend time with him and he should be fine Also he will be a Pink Eyed White/Red Eyed White, i believe albinoism does'nt exist within Gerbils :)Also you could look into doing a split tank method to introduce him to another gerbil but you do run the risk of just having two lone gerbils. xx
