Like the shortbread bars biscuit from my home town Scotland? Can they have a tiny amount of that?

I don't think it would harm them but I wouldn't advise giving it to them, they contain alot of sugar and butter which isn't good.

I have to admit that I gave a tiny piece of Scottish shortbread that we bought at a Scottish festival to our gerbils. Really tiny - half the size of a lentil tiny. They seemed to enjoy it. It's pure sugar and butterfat and probably no better for gerbils than it is for us. But, it's only a once a year treat for all of us. I felt much better sharing a piece of scone with our gerbils - without the clotted cream, of course.

I agree with the others, it won't do any harm but also won't do any good. A few tiny crumbs might be OK as a one-off treat.
