I must admit, I usually don't have a heard time sexing gerbils, but I'm not too sure on that one. Does "he" have a bulge beneath his tail? That's generally pretty obvious, no matter what position he's in.

Yeah it's a girl. Pets at home are rubbish with gerbils. I bought two 'females'. One died, I bought another female. As I was doing the split cage I realised that the original was in fact a boy. Then I had to get a companion for them both and after a few more mistakes and deaths and not being able to resist and so on I now have seven gerbils instead of the intended two. Oh well. Could be worse! I love them all!

I think it looks like a girl but I'm not an expert and have only needed to identify a couple of boys in the past

GerbilUK I have 7 gerbils aswell of the intended two I got for my birthday. Six females and 1. Trying to get a companion but he seems to be doing well in a split with a girl!
