rs and I would like to share with you a very exiting moment in Jenny's life and ours. This morning, for the very first time in the year and a half that we have had her. Jenny walked up the ramp, examined and then got onto the Silent Spinner. With her front feet she started to make the wheel move, she then lay down on it as sort of a hammock while it was still moving.
We are indeed ecstatic about this . For over a year we have been doing everything we know to entice her to at the very least get on the wheels.
She has been showing curiosity during this time and has come ever so close to actually getting on one, but at the last moment she had been shying away.
A couple of days ago, she did try to spin the Silent Spinner from outside the wheel by pawing at it.
Although, we unfortunately do not have a picture for the actual happening, I thought I would post a pic of the set-up.
We are guessing that a result of her increased playpen time (due to her Hospic situation) she is getting much more mental stimulation to do things that she has never done before.
Again - we cannot really express how happy we are about this !!!!!!!!!!!
