Dose any one know what to do with one gerbil to make him feel less lonely? i am waiting to get a few gerbils but I need to know what to do until then. Any one know how to introduce gerbils to each other without the split cage method? If you do please tell me.  |

Put the one gerbil's tank where you pass him or her a lot. Whenever you pass by, glance at the tank, and if you make eye contact, say something short (perhaps his or her name) in that sugary voice so many of us use to baby-talk to our furry friends.
