So just over a month ago I had to take my gerbil Bolt to the vets as I discovered blood in he's urine and he was urinating more than normal and drinking more than normal. this is my thread I made for this gerbilforum.proboards.com/thread/30480/blood-urine he had a dose of antibiotics and his urine test came back clear. Anyway recently he's been doing alot of small wee's when he's been out which is unusual for him as he is very toilet trained and usually only go's in his toilet or in the same spot. I think he's also been drinking a bit more again. Also I've noticed him sometimes just sitting still with his eyes dropping sometimes, he stops and reacts when I go over to him and not sure if this is something to worry about but may be connected. I'm thinking of contacting the vets again and see what they say and trying to get another urine sample to take to them to test. Any suggestions though? Also he is 1 1/2 years old.

I would contact the vet again, if he seems to be in pain(eyes closing) or not moving and in one place more often, he could have another infection. that is great the vet can test his urine, that will tell them what is wrong, my vet didn't do that when I had a gerbil in with a similar issue.
