so I build my two girls a nice "tanner" and added way deeper beddings.....now two question and sorry if seems obvious but better ask then not A)it must be normal that they becoming a bit more wild and don't come visite me as much???and also normal that they spends now lots of time "underground"
B)any trick to compromise so I don't lose all the taminig a did with them but wiothout compromising too too much on how they love the new set up

I found that I see mine less in their bigger tank simply because they are harder to wake up. In their 20 gal they always perked right up if I opened the tank lid but I think it's just because they were so close to the surface. They knew someone was RIGHT THERE and wanted to make sure everything was okay/safe out there. Now that they're like 9 inches underground they're not so concerned when they hear noises up above because they feel safe and secure where they are. I can still usually get someone to come out if I scratch around in their bedding long enough. I think they think I'm possibly another gerbil on their turf and they need to come out to deal with me.
I think you can get them to come out for you more through some classical conditioning. If you see them out and about go over, open the lid, start talking to them, and give them each a treat. If you do this each and every time you open the lid then they will soon associate the lid opening and your voice with the positive feelings associated with getting food. Basically they'll get excited. So later on when they're underground and you open the lid and start talking they're more likely to run up to see you (and get some food).
Also provide motivation for them to spend time above ground by providing cardboard and other toys above ground for them.

That's great advice gerblover4evr. I think some of my more confident gerbils do exactly that. They always come out when I open the tank and move things.
However, this goes both ways. Sometimes they stand there when they see me and stare at me until I get them out or give them something for their efforts... like a sad puppy. I fall for it every time.

I guess some Gerbils just doesn't like humans interactions at all. The best I can afford at the moment are Zoozone 1s, and I am so glad they wake up most of the times to check on me whenever I open the door, probably because I have been treating them with organic pumpkin seeds whenever the door opens, so they took the opening of door as an positive reaction.

I guess some Gerbils just doesn't like humans interactions at all. We've had a few like that, no matter how you try tame them they will always be very wary and not come near you

The more gerbils you have, the more you notice these things.
I certainly wish more of them would come up to me when I open the tank, but then I don't think I would want them all to stare at me pleadingly when I'm in the room!
And it's actually quite a special moment to see my shy gerbils playing with a new toy when they think I'm not looking....
