I would use those as treats - and the food looks ok too - but it looks quite expensive for what I usually buy - I don't pay more than £2 a kilo. Mind you that food has extruded parts so I suppose you will feed less per serving so to speak - so might work out the same in the long term.

I think you're looking at the XL gerbilarium on zooplus, as I got the JR Farms fruit salad food with mine. If you do end up getting that cage, I would advice not buying many other treats to your gerbils, as I have had my boys for half a year and I still haven't finished the fruit salad bag! (Although I do give them other treats mostly, like dried mealworms and pumpkin seeds.) Is there anywhere listed the nutritional values for the food? I would also recommend Gerri Gerbil food, I personally liked it and I know a lot of other people like it as well.
