Our pups are currently known as: Two Spot, One Spot, No Spot & Little Grey. On day 16 No Spot had one eye open. By the end of day 17 all four had both eyes open. These pics were taken that day. If anyone can confirm correct colours for Little Grey & No Spot that would be great - No Spot is black all over except his front paws which are white on the ends. One Spot & Two Spot have one/two white spots on their heads & white tums. Mum & Dad are spotted black & agouti. Little Grey - can't make my mind up whether she's spotted & not sure whether colourpoint agouti? : Two, One & No Spot (blurry picture) : Two Spot - cute, funny pic :

I can't help with little Grey, but No spot is a Black, blacks typically have white on their paws and a white chin often with a stripe that goes down their belly. One spot and Two spot assuming they are just little spots and neither has a white collar going around their neck are Spotted Blacks. They're so adorable, they make me wish I had the space and money to breed!

Looks CP Agouti to me with the diamondy darker grey marking on the tail...
I have a lot of CP Agoutis, and one of them hardly has any white bits - yet was spotted. So I think it is very hard to tell sometimes - especially if you are only keeping them as pets.

Thanks for the replies. They're definitely only being kept as pets. Once these babies are grown & we figure out who will live with who then we & the lovely Gizzy will be retiring from accidental gerbil breeding

Little Grey is CP Agouti, and I don't see any spots. You'll be able to tell later, when her nail color comes in. Spotted gerbils always have clear nails, but a solid CPA will have dark nails. No Spot is Black (unless he's Slate).
