Hi Everyone, So my Gerbils at the moment are housed in the Savic Extra Large Gerbilarium by Pets At Home (http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/small-pet/gerbil/gerbil-homes/extra-large-gerbilarium) and I have found this cage that I have completely fell in love with, but at the moment I don't have enough money because I am 14 and I don't work. The quickest I can get it is in October to December for my birthday and Christmas. So what I wanted to ask you guys is: 1. Has anyone got it? 2. Can I see set ups? 3. Is this a good cage? 4. Good and Bad Points? Also Can anyone recommend any good toys or houses for the new cage or not because I just feel like I need to renew their toys a bit. This is the link to the new cage: www.amazon.co.uk/Ferplast-Karat-57056317W1-Hamster-Mouse/dp/B00L180ZMS/ref=sr_1_26?ie=UTF8&qid=1436121507&sr=8-26&keywords=ferplast+hamster+cageAny comments are appreciated. Thank You PetMad15

The large gerbilarium you already have is a perfectly suitable cage for 2 gerbils with a nice deep bottom and plenty of top space for toys and a wheel etc.
The cage you are looking at replacing it with looks like it has a shallower base - so you will get a lot more 'kick-over' from their digging if that is the case. This cage is also quite a bit larger - but then you are paying quite a lot for the extra space.
If you aren't determined to have a pre-designed cage, why don't you consider finding a glass tank the same size of bigger than the top of your Savic, and then making that into a topper? Second-hand tanks are usually very cheap - and you already have the topper - so you could get all that extra space for a LOT less than that Ferplast cage.
Sometimes glass tanks are even free...

What about saving up for this instead? www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/gerbils_cages/348156 You mentioned tank not being an option as they are heavy, and such, but at least this one would be on wheels. The one you showed, it doesn't seem to have a deep base, which is my concern. You would also need to do something to the wooden shelves, as the gerbils would use them as their toilet (although you could easily just cover them with cardboard, etc).
