Jelly tot was diagnosed with a inoperable tumor in his ear about 6 months ago and has been on frequent courses of anti-biotics since to control infection... ...tonight i was bathing his ear to get the gunk off and inside the was what i thought was bright red blood....i tried to wipe it off but noticed that as i gently looked into his ear and moved the skin down a little bit its actually a bright red lump...im not really sure how to descripe it.... kindda looks like a blood blister inside his ear at the very top of the ear cannal. Is this likely to be the tumor? when he was first diganosed he was put under anasthetic so they could clean it out and take a good look and the said it was too far down to operate, if this is the tumour it must of grown pretty big for me to be able see it now right? poor little totty monster ... he is still a happy mischevious chappy but his infections have been much more frequently lately thanks amy

Not sure - it could be that his ear is uncomfortable inside with the original tumour so he is scratching or rubbing the ear pinna - the outside bit - and has caused the blood blister where you can see it. Simple if so.
Alternatively it could be the tumour growing outwards through the ear canal, but only a vet or experienced animal keeper will be able to tell the difference for sure to confirm.
Good luck...
