I think there has been a thread on this before and it was decided that the one that deters rodents would not be suitable for a home with any small animals.
However I am sure there was another such deterrent that was suggested for use, but I can't remember what it was. Do a search on the forum for 'ultrasonic' and hopefully it will come up.

I think the thread Betty means was one I started when we had huge spiders coming into the house at the beginning of autumn gerbilforum.proboards.com/thread/31157/sonic-spider-repellents-safe?page=1&scrollTo=277184 There was an alternative electromagnetic device that was supposed to repel spiders & insects but be safe for small pets. I never bought it just in case. But the one to repel rodents is definitely not safe with gerbils & TBH they both had very mixed reviews on success rates anyway. For the ants you could use powder/spray in the areas you know they pass through. For mice maybe humane traps? And for flies just don't leave any food lying around & have fly spray handy to zap them with if they do come in (but don't spray near the gerbils). Good luck - it sounds like nightmare!
