Hi all,
I have checked my pups this evening and one is making clicking sound, so suspect RI. They are nearly 4 weeks and have been fine up until now. I can go to the vet first thing in the morning but is there anything I should do now. Should I separate from the others? Is 12 hours to long to wait. Any advice would be most welcome
thanks

I have tool them to the vet this morning, 3 out of 6 making the noise but not the one that was last night. He has prescribed baytril. I'm giving it to all and the other litter I have. They seem to be fine eating and running around so maybe it's not RI at all.

t1gg3er, my 4 week old pups 3 out of 5 are doing the clicking sound, they look ok running about chewing. I read you're post 22 days old pups and I changed there bedding to aspen witch is what they had before but I had tossed in some tissue. this time it's just aspen alone and cardboard. I'll observe them the next couple of days and see if there's a change in the cliking sound.

Ours did it for just over a week. Then the 2nd litter did the same thing. As long as there are no other signs of any illness they should be ok. Would be good if you could start your own thread & show us some pics of your babies - I know you've waited a long time for them!

I'm glad to to let you know they are all fine, clicking has stopped and the small one who I was really worried about appears to be doing well. I will need some help sexing so will start a new thread when I have some pics. Thanks
