So much for my theory that she might be frightened by handling! You're obviously doing a lot of things right.

jgl okay! o: my sibling and i actually decided this morning to try mixing her meds with her food mush, since when we put that in a bowl, she goes right for it. she just doesn't seem to like the feeding syringes (can't blame her for that lmao)

I'm glad to hear the food mush is working. It's funny because one of my gerbils loves getting water from the syringe, when ever I use it for my older gerbil he wants to try it, they are all different though.

update 2/2/16: blitz is doing much better! i've set her tank next to crowley and the twins' so she can observe them and it seems to helping as she'd still had no idea how to chew the tp tubes & now she's learning. her poop has gone from too small, to regular, to huge, sticky, & smelly - which is my concern. i think it's due to so many liquids, from her food paste & from water (she drinks from her bottle in addition to the paste the vet ordered). we go back to the vet on the 24th.

glad Blitz is better, if you can, I would cut back on the paste and try to crush reg. gerbil food(with a food mallet or whatever you have), once some of gerbils' teeth grew in, they could eat small food. I had two black mottled boys, Spencer and Pacey I called the twins, too, they had opposite personalities and Spencer had a large blaze- I still miss them as they were loads of fun but I had them for over 3 1/2 years.
