How long should a gerbil be in quarantine?

During a split cage one of my gerbils got a respiratory infection. I removed her from the split and moved both gerbils into another room, separated from each other. One of the girls, Soda, doesn't seem ill and hasn't acted unusual. The other one, Rafe, was taken to the vet and is now on antibiotics. I still want to split them though, so how long should I keep them apart from each other?

I would wait until the course of antibiotics has finished and the infection has cleared up completely, plus at least another week just to be on the safe side.
