[edit by Markpd 2022] Sorry, I realise this page is out of date along with a bunch of broken pic links in it, it's on our to do list. I'll leave it here for now in case it is still of some use.
You will need...
First, you open up your photobucket account (and minimize it) and then open up paint too.
On photobucket, you have the little thumbnails that look like this...
(be sure to have uploaded the photos you want first ) You right click on a pic that you want, press 'copy' (or Ctrl+c), open up paint again and then go on to 'edit' and then onto 'paste'. Like so...
Move the pic to the top left hand of the page. it should look something like this...
Then repeat the above steps for another pic...
and another!
you can add another pic too, but then you'll have to make the other pics smaller (otherwise the banner is too long unfortunately).
Next, you can do a border on the little menu (at the side) on paint, you click on the 'line button' (the button with the diagonal line on it lol) and select the line thickness like this...
Then pick a line colour from the colour menu at the bottom and then start drawing!! ;D it might look something like this...
Now you can add text to your banner ;D there are 2 different options for text you can either have a white background to the text...
(do this by pressing on the text button ('A' button) and then clicking the upper box with the little coloured shapes in like so...
)
or a clear background...
(you do this by following the same instructions for the white background, but click on the lower button with coloured shapes in, like this...
)
To add text, click on the text button, draw a text box anywhere you like and choose a colour (you can also right click on the text box, scroll down and click on 'text toolbar' and then you can change font and font size etc like this...
).
And then write whatever you want ;D here's what it should roughly look like...
Remember to crop the page, so that it fits around the banner (get rid of the white background basically), by pulling in the tabs from the sides of the paint page...aannd then you should be done!! ;D
Then you should probably save it (remember to save it as a format that photobucket will recognise, like JPEG. BMP files take a ridiculous time to load), then upload it onto photobucket and then go on to this site, go onto profile --> modify profile, scroll down to signature, and in the box, type in the img tags and copy and paste the banner's URL in between the tags, like this...
Or, you can just copy and paste the IMG code from photobucket now
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page, hit 'modify' and check that the siggy has worked.
