How old is she? Because when she gets older and she gets better at chewing stuff, that igloo will be history. I had a plastic house kind of like the one you are describing and it was gone in about two days after i gave it to them. ;D

She doesn't look more than a month old, perhaps? She's not full grown.
She's so sensitive!! I'm really stressed right now, and I was getting worked up because of my high school entrance exam and school tomorrow, and Memphis hopped off her wheel and stared at me. It was so cute.
Lol, Minnasota, she doesn't chew yet... I gave her two chew sticks and a paper towel tube, and she hasn't touched them yet!!

Really, you ought to get another gerbil to house with her. I can't believe a petstore could be so stupid! It is unfair to keep her alone .

It is a shame, that you were on your own,if you had a parent or friend with you, they could have pretended they were not with you, and, bought another one. That way getting two gerbils. The majority of gerbils,do enjoy the company of another gerbil, make a split for your cage, and go and get another one , no home is complete with out at least one pair of gerbils. Unless your dad spends a lot of time, gazing into her cage,he'll never notice ;D. Lyd
