Announcing the Gerbil Forum Virtual Show White Belly Class starting Feb. 15. I will post results on March 15.
White bellied gerbils include Golden Agouti, Grey Agouti, Dark Eyed Honey, Argente Golden, Argente Cream, Topaz, Yellow Fox, Ivory Cream.
As stated before, please email me a good side and front shot (.jpg format) of your adult, white bellied gerbil. Your gerbil should be the only one in the picture. Please make it a reasonable size (not too small or too large).
Send it to rogerve@yahoo.com (cut and paste to your email) with the pictures as attachments or inline.

White Belly Class Results! First Runner Up: Amy's George, a 6 month-old Golden Agouti female, has a lovely rich tone and looks like she might carry Ee. She has lovely eyes and ears and excellent whiskers. However, she still retains a lot of her puppish slimness and needs a bit of feeding up to show to better advantage. A very pretty girl. Third Place: Amy's Luna, a 6 month-old Grey Agouti female has a beatifully conditioned coat and a good, firm build for a female. Her eyes are large and almond shaped, and she has outstanding whiskers. Her tail and tuft could be a wee bit thicker. I love her bright, alert expression! Second Place: Caroline's Daisy, a 16 month-old Golden Agouti female has a wonderfully shiny coat and a body in excellent condition, especially given that she is not so young anymore. She has bright eyes though a bit too rounded, and ears well set apart. Her tail is good and thick, but it would be nice to see a bit more tuft. Awesome whiskers! Looks like she's really enjoying the photo shoot and especially the snack! First Place: (Diza) April's Charlie, a one year-old Argente Golden male has deep colour and an excellent straight, defined margin between his back and belly colouration. His fur and in particular his belly is clean with very little staining. He also has a good broad head, extremely long whiskers, a fine set of ears (though slightly rounded at the top) and eyes. I'd like to see him a little fuller in the body next year, so be sure to feed him up a bit! Very nice tail and tuft! And as you can see, you don't have to be a fancy type to be a winner, as he certainly is!

All that attention went straight to Charlie's head. He's such a pretty boy.
