Interesting topic I feed my Gerbils 'Waag' because it's the only brand I can buy in bulk (16kg bags). I feed just enough each day so that only a tiny amount is left in the bowl, this way I know they are eating a selection of food, not just picking out the goodies! lol They were originally on P@H Gerbil mix but it was working out too expensive - why don't they sell in bulk?? Two of my three eldest male Gerbils ballooned in weight before Chrsitmas, however since changing their food to Waag their weight gain has stopped, but not gone down!! lol ... they are now on a diet hey lasvegas, you can buy gerri in bulk ya know ;D go to GM growers near Biggleswade and you can buy 15 Kg bags i think they also do other brands too ;D and it's also a great place for dog treats ;D lol

Yes Gerri is the most expensive. My gerbils won't eat Wagg. I mix Gerri and Raspberry hamster supreme to spread the cost.

lol i didn't see the cost >_< next time i go i'll check the cost and see what other brands they have ;D i'm not sure what's so special about Gerri lol i think it's just the ingredients, or mebbe it's because it's one of the only foods formulated especially for gerbs and the company thinks that they can sell it for more LOL ;D

Well some of the 'gang' had Gerri Gerbil last night. It took them a long time to find something they wanted but picked something in the end The older boys were even more shocked because it contains no nuts or sunflower seeds! lol For me I was a bit disapointed as it contained a lot of 'coloured' biscuit. I prefer to feed a food that hasn't been dyed (that's why Wagg looks so boring lol ). I'll let them finish off the Gerri Gerbil and see if they change in any way (I have a control group who will stay on Wagg! )
