Gerbils - need advise for rehoming!

Hi - I know this should be in the rehoming bit, but hardly anyone goes on there, so I thought I'd post it here ;D

I was recently thinking, my gerbils would be much happier living somewhere else - I can't give them all the love and care they need. And as I go into my GCSE's I will have even less time for them.

But I don't know where to start! I don't want any money for them, and I could give my food and bedding with them, so I know they should be sorted for a while, but I don't know where to go, or who to approach about it.

And don't go on about how irresponsible I am - I am here, admitting my faults and asking for help. Please don't be mean to me about it. I have my gerbils best interests at heart, that is why I am doing this

Create a post here, egerbil and The Breeder's Forum, and let everybody know your location and all the necessary info about your gerbils.

Good luck finding a nice home for them. I know that things come up, and I'm sure you'd rather keep your gerbils than give them away. I understand.

im sorry you feel you have to rehome them. Although, you could keep them and you might feel like its minimium attention, it could still be enough time until holiday times/end of GCSEs

If you don't want to hand them out to complete strangers over the internet, most animal shelters will take rodents. The shelter will make sure your gerbils go to a good home.

Yes, depending on where you live, the sex and age of the gerbils, I'd be intrested in adding two more to my lil clan.

I would also be interested in taking on your gerbils, only two questions: same as above, whereabouts do you live? And also, are you able to give the cage as well? I currently have two girlies who share a gerbilarium but I wouldn't be inclined to let them be introduced to new gerbils in the same cage.
