I'm really excited I'm getting some little Duprasi, one little girl called Amira is in Birmingham but I'm getting her in March and I'm hoping to get a pair this week (for my Birthday) - in the meantime this is the little one And this is Samir, he's not related to Amira but he's with the lovely people who have Amira and they're working on taming her - Samir is so laid back he spends the majority of his time like this, upside down, how cute is this?? Does anyone else keep Duprasi?? I'm hoping to breed them but not holding my breath because I heard they're really tricky to breed. But then I was told that about the Lemmings and I now can't STOP them breeding!

Ohmygod, they're adorable! Love the second pic ;D Wait, you keep LEMMINGS??? I didn't even know that was legal! Do you have any pictures of them? I wanna see ;D They're the things that jump off cliffs, right? Or is that just an urban legend?

Awww! Very nice looking critters! Dippy, lol, that made me laugh. xD I'm not sure if they go so far as jumoing off cliffs (could be wrong!), but they do drown attempting to forge large bodies of water. o.o They aren't the brightest creatures, for they get so used to following each other and crossing small streams during their migration that they just jump right into larger rivers and ponds and, well, don't make it back out. To quote Wikipedia, it would be referred to as a "mass suicide". xD I find them quite interesting, lemmings. Didn't know it was legal to own them!

they are Algerian Duprasis, this is my Egyptian female - she looks quite different to the other ones....... Het "top" colour is more red with no blue-tinge, she also has a very defined "line" between top and bottom (white colour) face shape and body size also differ slightly. Personality wise, they're all exactly the same, cute, loveable and very squishy!!

Aw, she's adorable! She doesn't seem to be as 'scruffy' as the others, though.
