can anyone reccomend a storage box to use , and for a sand playground is the inside cardboard ?

The sofa is against the wall and the sofa is not high and have a soft carpet front of it in case of escapes. Only happened a few times one of them climbed down (not jump) and enjoyed the freedom for a bit.
Always sit on a pouffe by the sofa and supervise them, never leave them alone. Normally I sit on the sofa with them (with less boxes) and then I am more interesting then climbing off as I provide the pumpkin seeds not the floor ;D

They're all cheats and were bought off amazon - there is some awesome stuff on there! Some of the huts you can see fit together with the wooden tube thing to make a gerbil (well, technically degu) mansion!
The only thing I made is the sand dune thing that has a maze of tubes and chambers inside. They absolutely love it and when I put it out all they do is hide inside it and sit in the entrances to the tunnels like you can see them doing in some of the pictures!
