wow I wish mine were that tame!!!! but then again I just got them 2 days ago so I'm sure it will take time... plus the fact that I don't know much about taming gerbils doesn't help lol but I'm trying to learn!!!!! They come to my hand and climb up on my hand but only for a second... If i try to pick one up they freak out and squirm like crazy so I can't hold onto them. I took them in my bathroom today and let them run around on the floor which they absolutely loved!! They had so much fun running around and even climbed up on me a few times but when it came time to get them back in their home I had a heck of a time catching them!!!!! I ended up having to wait for them to go in this little box

Your gerbies climbing up your legs reminds me of my gerbils when they were young. Buttercup, Zephyr and Mystery (who now lives with a friend) lived in my bathtub for a couple weeks, and whenever I came in, I would sit on the rim of the tub and all three would come running up my legs! Ohhhh how it tickled! I did almost completly hand raise Butterbee though, so I geuss their friendlyness wasn't do to my stunning taming skills

I tried to think of three names, but I could only come up with two really good ones! One I got from your story, Dive Bomber, call him/her 'Bomber' for short. And another Peanut, just like the puppet from the Jeff Dunham stand up routines, he's crazy Chaotic and lovable.

Oh god they're so gorgeous!
I tend to name my gerbs after some trait or association I have with them -- for instance, the one who can demolish a cardboard tube in about thirty seconds and s called cardboard; one who was really friendly even as a baby and also licked me I called Dog. I like to try and capture the personalities of my pets in their names.

Just the fact that they are THAT TAME and you didn't even name them yet is SPECTACULAR. I hope I can tame mine like that.

Haha silly gerbils. We're they that tame when you first got them because my boys are quite timid and would never climb up me like that.
