My tanks are 36"x12"x15" high. I have 4 tanks with 3 girls, 3 lads, 5 boys and 6 boys. I have thought about getting a 2ft one for the smaller groups but I wanted them all the same size and for and extra £3 it makes sense to get the 3ft ones!

J, Could you please put in a picture of your set up? I am really interested in the leveling of the 10 gallon tanks. It is a great idea, cost effective, and especially efficient!!! Thanks. I am not being nosey but rather interested. If I do breed, cost effective and space saving ideas are needed!!

I'll post some new pics in a few days.. They're due for a cleaning soon so if I took a pic now..wouldn't really show up how I do it.
Basically I just use the types of boxes canned soda comes in. Flat, short, thin and punch a few holes in the middle of it. They do the rest and it lasts for a couple of weeks. You can just take them from Petstores too..the canned food comes in them.
If this helps.. I basically.. Layer the bottom with bedding. put a box on top Cover that with bedding. Add another box. Also throw in some little boxes and toys like wooden houses that get burried, chewed and dug around.
Got to have a good cover though, because they'll be able to reach right up to it to push up or chew.
