So I'm thinking of getting a pair of Duprasi, but after some research I'm confused. Some say they're just like mongolian gerbil, other says that they're more like hamster and don't like to climb or jump, and don't really like sand bath. Anyone has Duprasi can help me make a comparison? I just need to know how should I set up the tank (more level to climb or more ground floor?)

I have one. Granted, I never had mongolian gerbils before, so I can't make a comparison. However my duprasi had been more like hamsters (I have hamsters) and need more floor space and deep substrate than climbing area. He likes sand bath though.
What I've heard is that they are aggressive to each other and best kept alone, but I don't know this in person because I only have one.

Unfortunately, they don't appear to be in the US any more, and we can't import them. There's still an embargo on all rodent species native to Africa.
That includes duprasi, Shaw's Jirds, Libyan Jirds, and most of the "true" gerbils (genus Gerbillus).
