Leafwhiper-Age-12 I got a private message today from the administrator on the Gerbils Forum today about you becoming a forum member on this forum.

Here is the private message that i got from the administrator Ritzie on the Gerbils Forum.

Proboards has strict rules about children joining the forum on their own accounts. If a staff member becomes aware of a minors account then it must be deleted. This isn't just from Proboards. It's a huge Internet thing to help protect the exploitation of children. If Proboards were to find out that a minor under the age of 13 had an account & that staff knew, but did nothing, they have every right to delete the ENTIRE forum.

leafwhisper, I really think you should just ask your parent to set up an account for you. You seem to have such a nice manner, have done a lot of research and are honest about your age. I don't see why the admin wouldn't let you use your parents account with their permission. I hope to see you on here soon as a member.

I think that is what i will have to do. If my parents get an account I will probably not be leaf whisper. I will tell you as soon as I sign up. Or I could wait 6-10 months for my birthday, but that is months. months is a long time.
