Lol thanks I do too I personally am too soft to restrain my gerbils - I'm too scared I'll hurt them! It would be handy to know though, and even if I can't do it, I bet it'll help others

It would be handy to know though, and even if I can't do it, I bet it'll help others Gerbils are surprisingly hardy little creatures, and I really think it would be tough to hurt them as long as you're using common sense . I'll see what I can do about getting a post up with proper gerbil restraint for various "treatments" that may need to be done... -Megan

Your welcome I took this soem time back as an illustration in another post (possibly another forum) and by the way I have very tiny child size hands so if I can hold a large adult male that way most of you should be able too easily I dont think wrapping works as well with gerbils as you cant get as firm a grip. mind you just look at the claws on that!!! WOW!!!

As, I said if you are scared of hurting them, wrap a towel around them, then they will wriggle less than when you just have them in your hand. Also, personally I found it easier to give medience that way
