Hello! I used to own 3 gerbils ~ sadly I no longer have them. I did really enjoy their company, though, and I am currently looking in to adopting a new pair or trio! My preference right now would be a trio of males, though a pair is fine too. I have already bought a 40 gallon tank and all the accessories/necessities to go with it. My real trouble, though, is finding the gerbils themselves. I have been thoroughly dissapointed with the pet stores I have visited (I have visited all within my area) in both the condition of their rodents and employee knowledge of them. I am looking for a breeder, though I cannot find any in my area. I need a breeder somewhere in TN, preferably Nashville; I cannot yet drive and my parents are not willing to go farther. Has anyone ever had success finding a reputable and reliable breeder here? Or maybe a rescue center? Thank you for your time!

Sorry, wrong country - I hope you find a good one.
Have you contacted the AGS (American Gerbil Society) - they may be able to point you in the right direction...

There's no registered breeder in TN, but the AGS might know about a rescue in the area, or a non-affiliated breeder.
