There's a world of pets show next weekend (Jan 27 to 29). Is anyone going or has been to one? I was thinking of going and was wondering what to expect.

I'll be there, as will MoonstoneGerbils. The gerbil show is a small part of a huge expo, which is tons of fun. The showing runs all day; unlike a regular show, it's "exhibition format", which means the results are announced as they're decided rather than waiting until the end. If you get bored you can wander around the rest of the expo. AGS members will be there to answer questions, and there will be educational displays. |

We did go and it was so fun and I learned a lot from the woman who was sitting across from mgpr (metropolitan guinea pig rescue). My daughter had her face painted like a purple cat.
