Hi everyone. I'm curious if anyone knows of a good book or resource on in depth gerbil pathology that would be suitable for a vet? I'm a dentist and I would love to apply some of my science knowledge into knowing more about my little friends as far as sickness, causes, etc. I've looked on amazon but I can't really find anything specific to gerbils, most of the real science books are "rodents" in general.

Can I bump this? Are there any other threads for in-depth books on gerbil anatomy/pathology, etc. ?

Oooold topic. While this isn't pathology exactly, it's more in depth than any other free resource I've found (pathology books are insanely expensive, at least on mongolian gerbils where I live. 400€ for the one I'm eyeing). Word of caution!!! This link includes graphic photos of gerbil dissection. The link is also a PDF and needs to be downloaded, as well as being in German (I recommend deepl for German to English translations). Again, not an ideal resource and not exactly what you're looking for, it's basically just anatomy, but it's free. edoc.ub.uni-muenchen.de/6863/2/Grodtmann_Elina.pdf
