I saw an ad for these two free gerbils. They were left at someones house and they have no idea what to do with them, so I was thinking I would pick the little fellas up. What colors are they? I was thinking nutmeg and pied agouti, but I am not the best at colors.

Saffron is another name for Red Fox. I prefer the name Saffron, because there are already "fox" colors in mice that are totally different. In mice, Fox colors are ones with a solid color on the back, but white on the belly. It requires two different mutations, neither of which has shown up in gerbils yet.
