So the much asked question I'm sure, but out of the three pups here do I have two topaz and an argente cream? I'm for sure positive that the spotted and middle pup are topaz, but is the last one argente cream? In the three pictures they are all in the same order and in different lighting. They are a week old.
So from left to right and top to bottom, argente cream, topaz, and spotted topaz? Mom is a DEH (AA CC ee Uw* D* Pp). Dad is a Siamese (aa c[chm]c[h] E* Uw* D* Pp)
And just because, here is the whole litter. (looks like 5 females and 3 males).

Difficult to tell as on most of the images they (the two un-spotteds) look almost identical - but in the second image that one looks darker even on my screen?
The problem with the cp genes is that they are affected by temperature during development AND in the room at the time, so sometimes a slight difference in colour isn't the different genes at work it is the individual themselves. And it is the same reason that you can have a dark sapphire (Cchm) that looks like a light lilac (CC) and a light sapphire that looks like a dark Dove (Cch).
Maybe as they age and grow their adult coats you will see more of a difference?
