Hello all! My two males I've paired up from my gerbils first litter are approaching 10 weeks of age, and I've been checking week to week to be sure they are both males. However, I would love a second opinion, as now one of them (The orange boy, Gouda) seems to have a lot larger bulge then his brother, Brick. Could just be maturing a little faster, but since I'm paranoid, I'd like to be absolutely certain they are both males. I took pictures of them through a glass hide they are used to playing in, I hope it didn't stress them much (I gave them treats and snacks following!) Here's the photos: Gouda:
Brick:
I've been "studying" photos online, but I'm not an expert. Thanks a lot in advance for any and all help!

You have a lovely pair of boys there. Gouda and brick are both definite boys. Love the names!

Thank you very much! They look very "boyish" to me, but it doesn't hurt to get a second (or third!) opinion. All of my gerbils are named after cheeses I'm glad you like the names, haha!

Hey there! Definitely look like both males to me, too!
Out of curiosity, what made you want to name your gerbils after cheese? Don't get me wrong, there's some GREAT cheeses out there!! Gerbils too!

Many of my gerbils are orange and white, some are gray. The orange really made me think of cheese!
The names of my other gerbils are Marble, Smokey, Cheddar, and Brie

Cheeses have some great names!
Like Stilton, Asiago, Fresco, Colby, Kern, Yarg, Criffel, Durrus...
That'd be a lot of fun actually!
