I have a gerbil runt in a litter n she grew well n healthy..
I just wanna ask if this kind of the runt is always infertile or the other way....if all the runts are infertile then i can mix with other old male..
Do anyone here have any experience in growing the runts and the runts breed and have babies?

I have never heard that a runt in any litter is infertile. Generally if a gerbil is infertile there are genetics issues and not just because of them being the smallest. But maybe someone else knows differently.

Agreed, runts can grow up to be indistinguishable from their siblings, including in the mothering department.

Yep, I have never tried to breed from a runt myself kxaupyl - but I wouldn't have expected them to be any less fertile than all the other gerbils. I have had infertile gerbils (or at least gerbils whoe don't appear to be able to raise live young) so they do exist, but there is realy only one way to find out. And remember, it isn't always the female who can be infertile - so just because she may end up living with one older male for a year with no pups, don't assume the next old male you use won't have the right equipment!!!
