I don’t know if I should get females because, if one dies I have to reintroduce to another female. Also I personally think it’s harder to find females but I don’t know.
Right now I looked and they’re was only girls that I liked but they aren’t available till Monday they’re three boys one by himself (poor gerbil) and another two in they’re own cage

I started off wanting males, but actually ended up getting females.
You don't have to introduce another female if her companion dies, in fact its not recommended if the gerbil is old/gets along fine on its own. However, introductions have been done and worked out great (but they are more difficult to introduce than males)
I don't think its harder to find them. It depends on the litter of the mother and the interest in each genders.
So it's really up to you and whether you want male or female.
Also, you said in a previous thread you were still getting toys/chews? Are they with you now? It's important to make sure the tank is really ready before getting the gerbils so they can have a while of settling in without much disturbance.

I also started off looking for males and was looking for gerbils around 6-12 months old. I ended up re-homing two almost 2 year old females! They've restored my faith in females, still have a very close bond at almost 3 years old and are two of the most gentle, sweet natured pets I've ever owned (they were said to be biters, but had been mishandled and kept in a tiny hamster cage with dirty bedding). I won't get another gerbil when one goes as I think it would be too stressful all round. I've previously recommended males for new gerbil owners but think it's best to take the gerbils you are most drawn to, male or female.

They’re not with me now, I still have my cage ready but I have different hides and toys coming in in case they chew them and also for when I clean they’re cage and change the setup.
