my Olympic runner pine keeps me up all night on his wheal and i don't know what to do, i keep on putting things next to it to make it stop and such but it just doesn't work and makes it louder. also my wheel is zipped to the lid of the cage so i can't take it out. any advice in this situation would be etrextremly helpful -thanks

if it's touching the side of the cage or anything else it will very likely make a racket when they run on it. Also some wheels are just naturally noisy, mine in my old cage was an absolute nightmare. My new one is a 31cm rodipet silent wheel - it is FABULOUS! All you can here is the pitter patter of gerbil feet. It might be too expensive for you though - roughly £35-40, I got it second-hand on ebay.

My gerbils wheel is nearly silent (a solid metal wheel by tictac), at least it is now I've lined the inside of the wheel with cork, previously you could hear the gerbils skid on it. Although it wasn't really loud by any means, I mainly lined it for better grip. Oh, they're not cheap either though.
What part of the wheel is making the noise? Vibrations through the cage lid? Noisy bearing? (or lack of bearing)

Try weighing down the other side of the lid this will make it stop moving around which is what I assume is making the noise.
