And the forums can all be translated by the browser - so you can join a group from anywhere in the world these days!
*if they let you?

I took a look at the zoos and It's interesting to me that they have an assortment of colors that we would usually consider as "pet" types rather than just the wild type. I would think they are informing people about the wild ones not them in captivity so its odd that they have such a variety of "unnatural" colors

And the forums can all be translated by the browser - so you can join a group from anywhere in the world these days! *if they let you? Ha, easier said than done , certain crucial functions on the German forum don't work when you use Google translate, e.g I can't log in, and even if I log in in German and then use Google translate it shows me as logged out so I can't reply. Also Google is quite bad at translating from German to English, getting grammar wrong and sometimes reversing the meaning! Hence I mostly use DeepL (although better it isn't perfect), but it isn't integrated into the browser. So whether I use a 2nd browser tab for Google, or use DeepL's program, I have to copy and paste the text out and back in again to have conversations there.
For French I'd be able to read 80-90% of it and normally only need to translate the odd word.
Pim I noticed a few like that in the wild gerbils thread link to zoo listings, perhaps theirs limited availability of agouti? Or perhaps the domestic agouti's have a higher chance of producing non-agouti offspring??

Oh - I use the translate for the renmaus.de forum and have no trouble at all with it and logging in and out - all seems fine. Weird? Unless you are using a different/multiple forums?
I wish I could read more French for sure - something I blame my school for!

Weird - might be your other software then, as it is quite a secure site - they are always checking for proof you are human and stuff.
Great forum though...

Chrome - Firefox is well old these days - maybe it is just that some features on that browser aren't compatable with features on newer websites.
Very common.

Hmmm, odd, seeing as it's still being updated (was just a few days ago). I'll give Chrome a try anyway, I gave up on it some years ago because I found simple things like adding bookmarks were hidden! (not that FF is much better there though!).

Quick update on the original topic All 5 pups are doing well. They are growing like weeds and starting to motor around and explore. Yesterday I noticed one of the other females starting to get a little dominant with momma gerbil. Later I saw her being a little extra vigorous when grooming one of the pups. So I went ahead and removed the 2 young adult females before trouble could break out. Momma gerbil does not seem distressed this morning.

Thanks for the update - and great to see all the rest of the pups are doing well.
Best part for me in the day their eyes open - they are all still sleek of fur and look like little torpedoes...
I miss baby gerbils - but baby duprasi can be just as cute (although they only come in one colour).
