Did you get the small or the medium? well i don’t currently have gerbils so the wheel isn’t intended for them but the small size is good for my dwarf hamster in my profile photo i would do the large for gerbils though

Hmmm. The one that came up for me was this one. I didn't parse too closely, but I'm not sure the difference. Both are in the NiteAngel store. The one you linked to also has a lowered adjusted rating, meaning that there are reviews that Fakespot deems suspicious. That doesn't automatically mean the product is bad, just that the reviews might be manipulated. OTOH, ReviewMeta doesn't seem to have such suspicions. Which size did you get? I originally got the larger wheel size and it was massive. I returned it and got the small size.

11" is a good size. I agree that 8" is a bit small for gerbils.

The 8.2 inch wheel is a good size for them to run one at a time and their back is straight. I might upgrade to a 11 inch later but for right now the 8.2 inch wheel is okay. If you do have the space for it though the 11 inch wheel would be perfect. Just depends on where it is going to be placed because with the base it is quite tall.

There's a small, medium, and large: 8.2", 10", and 12" (for some reason they don't give the size for the large in the specs, but one review says it's 12). I just ordered the the medium (10") since I also bought a 40g tank and it seemed a reasonable compromise in size.

My boys wheel is 10" and it's an adequate size I think, I do see Avon (but never Blake) running on the edge of the wheel with his head poking out over the edge. I don't know if it's because he likes to see where he's 'going', or whether it allows him to run with a straighter neck, back and tail. Avon does run on it far more than Blake does. If I had to replace it though I would go for a 12" wheel.
Perhaps buy a 10" and 12" wheel, put them both in the cage and see which one the gerbils prefer, that would be a good test! (then send the other one back, lol.....after a clean of course ).

Haha Merry looks out the side too! XD Maybe she enjoys the scenery as she’s wizzing around on her wheel...

Just received the 10" wheel, and it's a great size for a 40 gallon tank. I think it would fit in the 20 as well, but it would take up quite a bit of space. So far, I'm impressed; I might get a small (8.2") for the lone gerbil in the 20-long. Maybe I'll temporarily put the medium into the 20 as a test to see.
I like that it comes with a cork stick-on for the bottom, which I imagine would reduce rattling.

Now that's a good idea, maybe I should wrap my boys wheel's stand in cork to reduce knocking when Blake engages warp drive! Might also stop them weeing on it! If I can get it to stick to a tube.....

Can you confirm that? If so then it would seem not to be a tactic for wheel size, as 12" is definitely big enough!

Yes, 12. So I really think it must be boring looking at the wheel in front of them, maybe even a little dizzying because of the speed it’s going round, so looking out makes it a little better for them. That or they’re just weird. Who knows.
