I don't have hundreds anymore sadly - but I got so used to buying in bulk that I stick to it.
Prices for easy-grab products makes me gasp!

GA? What country are you in btw? Its the bit on food packaging that tells you its nutritional info. (Eg. the % of protein/fat, calories) It isn't a deal breaker if the % protein/fat is slightly off on a seed mix, but not knowing how much protein & fat is in Erin's Ark mix just makes me anxious. (What if its wildly inadequate and I didn't know about it?) I feel like Erin's Ark has grown into a large enough company to find a way to get the content of their seed mixes tested... but they just haven't. Maybe I'm just finding excuses for why I don't like a brand I can't get access to. Take my comments with a grain of salt. 🤪 I live in Singapore by the way.

AFAIK, she's just a 1 woman band, although I'd imagine her parents help her. I would've thought though that if she knows the proportions of the different foods in it, that she could work out the %?

I believe she's 20 (could be wrong there, but she has an 18th birthday vlog from 2 years ago) and has had gerbils since around 2014 (so when she was 13/14) so I'm sure the food mix is fine as I can see from her channel etc. that she has done a LOT of research on gerbils, and as Mark says her family are clearly animal obsessed so I'm sure her parents help! Sorry to change the subject I've just been mixing some food together for my girls, but as I said in the beginning it looks to me like there's WAY too many biscuits!! I just wanted to check it was okay before giving to them? I'll show a photo. Even though it might not look like it in the photo, there are plenty of lovely seeds and grains in there too, but just concerned on the biscuits part. Really sorry to be annoying, I trust you all but I just wanted to show you a photo to see what you think. The mix is gerri gerbil, burgess biscuits, some homemade food by my local pet shop (where most of the seeds come from) and some other things I put in - with research on how much to put in of course to keep the correct values - such as wholewheat pasta, porridge oats, quinoa and fennel seeds. Just in case anyone is interested, I believe there's about 1.5 kg of food that I just mixed together. Oh, and I will be adding Nature's Touch as normal in a couple of days, just need to buy it as I don't have any left. ibb.co/fCj4M2S

It could be that the large pieces (ie. the biscuits) are moving to the top and the smaller bits (eg. millets, oats) are moving to the bottom of the mix, making it look like theres a lot of biscuits.

That's true actually, I am often finding the smaller pieces are at the bottom. Thanks!
