I want to hang my coconut which doesn't have a string anymore. Is there a way I can hang it with a metal chain so they don't chew it? How does everyone else hang their coconuts?

If the coconut has two eyes you can loop a chain through and add put a lanyard clip through the ends of the chain. This is how I did it with a hanging cork log (I used small carabiners instead of lanyard clips because it was all I had):

Thank you so much. That should work I just need some caribiners and a chain or a lanyard.

You can buy lanyard clips or carabiners and lengths of chain for jewellery making from Amazon or Ebay. With the chain, I wouldn't go for anything too fine it case it traps claws.

I thread wallet chains through my cork. You do have to be careful that the chain is flush to the cork/coconut so they cant get their heads stuck in between the chain and cork though.
