They look lovely. It took me a while to spot Gregett as (s)he's almost the same colour as the bedding! You should cover the cage with something, because gerbils can jump up to 2 feet. You could use cooling racks, any wire mesh you have, or even solid flat objects like books, as long as you leave some gaps for air and get a real lid as soon as possible. I think they are likely to escape otherwise. The humping is probably ok but keep an eye on them. In males or females it can be a way of asserting dominance. Perhaps now they're a pair rather than a three they just have to work out their hierarchy again. Or they could be females in heat. It might be a good idea to check they are the same sex now though, just in case one was mis-sexed, which happens all too often. You could get them to walk into a glass jar and have a look from underneath. Either take photos and post them here, or try to identify if they look the same.

Gregett went into the new bedding immediately, she is the shy one, whenever i put my hand in the tank to do something for them she darts into bedding lol, Darkest is curious about what i'm doing and is always out. idk how old they are though, that might be a small problem but it is ok for now lol!

In that case they're probably female. Pet shops tend to sell gerbils at 8-12 weeks old. They'll be very busy for a few hours constructing their burrows so I'd suggest leaving them to it.

Cute gerbils , but we want some better close up photos . I don't know how much Higgins you should feed gerbils, but until someone comes up with a better answer, I was feeding my boys about 15-17g/day (with Erin's Ark gerbil feed) until a few months ago (they're now 1yr old and now get 12g/day). I feed my boys once per day (they don't eat it all at once), but if you prefer you can split the feed to twice a day.

About a tablespoon for each gerbil is about right, but you can increase that if they eat all of it. They won't overeat in terms of volume but if they have too much they will pick out the fatty bits and leave the rest. I feed once a day but you can do twice if you want. The main thing is that they should always have some food available.

they have not chewed on their plastic wheel yet, so thats a good sign! They love to run through the long paper towel roll that I put in their tank, they don't chew it, but sometimes Gregett sleeps in it, and other times they just run through it over and over! Gregett likes the sand bath more than Darkest, and Darkest likes food more than Gregett i think. overall, im pretty sure they like their new home They seem really happy!

They'll kick lots of sand into the bedding and it will filter down through the bedding to the bottom of the tank. When you clean them out in a few weeks you can just sweep or vacuum it up. There's no need to do anything now. You could try to find a taller bowl, like a fish bowl shaped thing, so they kick less sand out.

Also, i tried hand feeding today and gregett is the only one who bit me, and she only bit me twice! Darkest sniffed my hand a bit, then crawled on it and ate!

When they first discover something new they'll often try to bite or chew it. They'll probably stop after a few hours. If not, they might not like where it's located or might feel like it's in their way.
The cardboard transport box is fine for them to chew. You can also give them the insides of toilet rolls or kitchen rolls, cereal boxes and similar cardboard. I would avoid cardboard from frozen foods as it's often coated with something to make it stronger, and I also avoid giving them any external delivery boxes (e.g Amazon boxes) as you don't know where they've been or what might be on them. I do give them the paper packaging that Amazon uses inside their boxes though.
